Purpose of the meetings
The Commonwealth, State and Territory Social Inclusion Ministers are committed to finding new ways of working together to improve opportunities for social inclusion. All Ministers have agreed that social inclusion is a priority across their jurisdictions, especially as Australia recovers from the global financial crisis.
Activities and outcomes
The Ministers held their first meeting on 18 September 2009 and produced a communiqué.
